Steve and his wife Karen have enjoyed living in the unique playground called Marina Del Rey for over 16 years. They are physically active as swimmers, runners, and bikers, and often find themselves walking up to “the corner” (aka Washington) for dinner at one of several neighborhood restaurants. MDR also provides many special reasons to get together with friends including the 4th of July fireworks show and the annual holiday boat parade.

Professionally, Steve is the Founder of My Software Tutor. The MST mission is to help people “turn on their learning lightbulb.” They accomplish this through their “Effective Business Storytelling” workshops designed to improve listening, communication, storytelling, and presentations, all produced for teams and organizations. In addition, MST leads real-time courses that teach practical, functional Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint). The common thread is a strong desire among all learners to (1) upskill (expand a current skill set) and/or re-skill (learn new expertise).

Steve has more than two decades of experience at the evolving intersection of media, content, and technology. He is an experienced educator as an Adjunct Professor for Syracuse University (Riding The Digital Wave) and previously for UCLA Extension (Hollywood & Digital, The Business of Entertainment & The Business of Sports) and Boston University (Multi-Platform Entertainment Marketing). He was the Chief Operating Officer & Chief Revenue Officer of Zazoom Media Group, a leading premium video creator and multi-platform content distributor, and VP, Content Strategy & Business Affairs for GoTV Networks, one of the first mobile video producers. Steve’s corporate experience includes tenures at MGM Worldwide Television and Universal (MCA) TV.

Steve has a passion for supporting start-up ventures as a business mentor for the Stubbs, Alderton Preccelerator. He has also worked with established yet entrepreneurial companies such as Sony Interactive, The Improvisation, Engage Games Online, and TriStar Pictures. Steve produced the first-ever sports technology conference, eSportsWorld. Last but not least, Steve is a proud 2nd generation Syracuse Orange alumnus.
